Account Executive – Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Account Executive to become an integral and valued part of our team on a six-month fixed term contract. The role offers excellent experience and career development, working closely with our wider team and supporting a range of exciting client projects.

We’re passionate about the power of sport in enhancing physical health, mental health and community cohesion and working with people, brands and organisations who feel the same.

Some of the brands we work with include Invictus Games, RFU, The National Lottery, parkrun, MCC & Lord’s Cricket Ground, Swim England and UK Coaching.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist the team to develop and implement creative communications strategies for our clients, supporting campaigns which drive action and deliver measurable results. You’ll be working across a range of exciting sports projects with a focus on women’s sport and international events.

Most campaigns will be consumer focused, typically aiming to increase participation in sport, develop brand engagement and drive footfall for major sports events.

Day to day

  • Supporting the team in the development and delivery of creative and strategic communications campaigns
  • Working with major media brands to deliver high-quality and creative PR activity for our clients
  • Assisting the team with organisation of athlete & ambassador activity
  • Supporting and working closely with client in-house marketing & communications teams
  • Researching and curating up-to-date sports news, stories and insights to support the delivery of client campaigns

Preferred Experience:

  • Some experience in Consumer PR / Communications, or the Sports Industry (we welcome applications from strong graduates and those early in their careers)
  • Experience in digital communication, including an interest in or knowledge of social and digital channels
  • Project management skills

  • A conscientious self-motivator with a genuine passion for sport and communications
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with frequent tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A collaborative and enthusiastic team player who shows great initiative
  • Detail-oriented and organized

The Package:

  • Contract: Six-month fixed term contract
  • Salary: £24,784.50 per annum pro rata’d

  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, with three days a week at our offices in Brighton & Hove. UK travel would be a requirement of the role.
