This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow Run’s Women’s Sport division — Run X - a flagship area of our business dedicated to driving meaningful progress in women’s sport.

You’ll be at the forefront of the women’s sport movement, shaping and delivering strategies that drive real progress, win new business, and deliver campaigns that make headlines and measurable impact.

You’ll thrive on meeting new people, building relationships and spotting opportunities — from brand partners to rights holders — turning conversations into collaborations and new business ops that grow both the business and the profile of women’s sport.

Our work is bold, creative and consumer-focused, harnessing the momentum behind women’s sport to spark change at every level — from community pitches to the global stage. You’ll lead campaigns that champion participation, visibility and the wider social impact of sport for women and girls everywhere.

Day to day will include:

  • Leading Run’s Women’s Sport division – Run X – setting the strategic direction & plans to reach commercial targets, driving creative excellence and ensuring seamless delivery across all client campaigns.

  • Delivering fully integrated campaigns that connect audiences across channels, with a continued focus on national and regional media relationships
  • Collaborating with our content and creative teams to produce engaging, original digital and social content that amplifies storytelling and sparks conversation.
  • Playing a key role in business growth – identifying and approaching potential clients, shaping proposals, and delivering confident, creative new business pitches that win.
  • Managing third-party partners and suppliers – including design, film and photography teams – to ensure quality and consistency across all outputs.
  • Owning project and budget management – keeping delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Leading and inspiring your team, supporting professional growth and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and accountability.

Preferred Experience

  • 6 years Consumer PR / Communications / Brand / Sports Industry experience with at least 3 of those in a senior role successfully generating new business and growing existing client relationships

  • An established network of key contacts across the industry
  • Experience in digital communication, including a strong understanding of a range of social and digital channels
  • Proven experience of managing campaign analytics and reporting campaign successes to senior stakeholders with recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Excellent Project and Budget Management Skills

  • Understanding of strategic communications planning, measurement and evaluation
  • Strong experience leading a high performing team
