We are seeking a creative and ambitious Digital Content Manager to become an integral and valued part of our team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to lead on our digital output, working closely with the wider team and supporting on a range of exciting clients and projects from the outset.

Content Manager – The Role

The role of the Content Manager will be to work with alongside our account leads to plan, produce and distribute creative and original content for our clients. 

This is a hands-on role, and we are looking for someone with a creative eye and excellent practical experience to lead our content production output. The successful applicant will be crucial to helping our clients’ to meet their business objectives via creative and engaging digital content.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in video content production, but other attributes across photography, design, animation and social media management would be a bonus.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee digital content production for the agency, ensuring high quality across every client, project or workstream.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the latest digital trends and emerging media; always be looking to integrate innovative tools and channels for our different clients and projects.
  • Serve as the digital lead in client-facing meetings, providing counsel on everything from digital opportunities to campaign performance.
  • Work with the wider team to manage budgets, timelines, third-party vendors (e.g. design, film production) as needed.
  • Delivering client KPIs - exceed client targets and expectations to ensure retention and where possible growth of client accounts
  • Manage a network of freelancers to support ours and our clients’ work across the UK
  • Work with the wider team to deliver Run’s marketing plan for our owned channels

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in an agency or in-house production team, with a focus on creating video content
  • Skilled in the use of DSLR and cine cameras (Sony A7iv, FS5 etc)
  • Excellent editing experience (advanced in Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Intermediate experience across the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects / Photoshop / Illustrator / Lightroom / Audition etc)
  • Proven experience of producing and delivering successful digital content campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of content production workflows and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable with presenting to clients and liaising with third parties, athletes and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets, freelancers, or external agencies.
  • Good knowledge of social media strategies, platforms, trends, reporting and analytics
  • Experience with paid social media advertising

The Package

  • Salary: £27,500-35,000 depending on experience

  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, with three days a week at our offices in Brighton & Hove. UK travel would be a requirement of the role.

As sport does not happen Monday-Friday, 9-5, UK travel and occasional weekend work would be a requirement of the role.
