  • Steve Chisholm
    Managing Director

    Steve is a strategic communications professional with over 25 years’ experience working for major clients and media organisations. He is one of the best-connected individuals working in sport and the media today. Steve leads Run Communications, an agency of talented practitioners that seeks to present innovative and collaborative solutions to brands, sport and the media. After a 10 year broadcasting career with the BBC, Steve spent the next decade helping to build one of the major sports marketing businesses in the UK. Steve launched Run in September 2012.

    Sara has 15 years’ experience planning and implementing high profile integrated marketing, sponsorship and public relations campaigns in the sport and consumer sectors. With both brand and agency experience — EDF Energy, Fast Track & the London 2012 Olympic Bid — Sara enjoys planning and executing innovative and differentiated projects that deliver real results.

  • Nick Rewcastle
    Senior Account Manager

    Nick is a talented communications practitioner, having been a valuable part of teams on both the agency and client side. His previous experience includes roles at Warrington Wolves RLFC, working across a variety of accounts at comms agency TheCommsCo, as a PR and Marketing Manager at HMF, as well as a role at ITV as part of their Marketing and Communications teams. As a Senior Account Manager here at Run, Nick manages multiple accounts with a mixture of campaigns ranging from traditional PR to social media. Nick has very strong relationships with key journalists, and a particular ability to identify relevant stories that will reach the most appropriate audiences for a client’s aims.

    Associate Director

    Lisa Harper is a dynamic and creative media professional, with 20 years’ experience in journalism and sports PR. She has successfully led major media campaigns for high profile brands such as BT, P&G, British Gas, Heineken, Visa, and Spar. Lisa specialises in delivering outstanding media coverage, high-quality digital content and top-class media events. She has worked at many global sporting events, including: the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, London 2012 Olympic Games, European Swimming Championships, World Athletics Championships, French Open Tennis, Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Senior Account Executive

    James is working with a range of clients including British Athletics, UK Coaching and London Youth Games to support their social output - and is the Social Media lead for Commonwealth Games England.

    He is a content marketing specialist, having trained as Videographer & Editor. Additionally James is an Accredited Gold Standard Sports Journalist.

    James has led marketing and social at the Ski Club of Great Britain, directed content for International Paralympic Committee and was Team GB’s Social Media Officer at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

    He has experience on the sports desks of The Times and The Independent as well as an array of regional media brands.

    Senior Account Manager

    Joel is a highly experienced communications professional and is the lead for the Lawn Tennis Association at Run.

    Joel has 15 years’ agency and in-house experience in sports marketing and public affairs. He has specific expertise in national and regional media relations and political and stakeholder engagement and has a particular interest in community sport and the sport for development sector.

    He has worked for clients including Brighton & Hove Albion FC, The Belfry, Leyton Orient Trust and London United – a collaborative partnership of the community trusts of London’s 15 professional football clubs.

    Sophie is a passionate and creative sports marketing professional. Having previously worked with mass participation events, she has experience selling out stadia and creating new sporting audiences using an integrated marketing strategy.

    Skilled in the use of social media to drive engagement, she also excels at content creation and is a trained videographer and editor. Having worked both brand and agency side, she can understand a brief and execute a strategic plan to deliver strong results.
